Her Black Is Beautiful

This standalone piece was an exercise in drawing a feminine female face and an experiment with using wood burning and complimenting the natural wood grain. Various people close to me in my life told me the women I make look masculine. The last straw was when a customer came in and said The Scream was amazing ... because the woman had a masculine face but a feminine body.
