Grin And Bear It

This was my first feminist piece that I ever made. Inspired by my piece Grief, I continued to explore the figurative abstraction style. I made this work specifically for a show called 80/20. It was a show about how women (white women actually but another piece talks about that) make an average of 80 cents for every dollar a white man makes. The prompt for the show was to show what would art look like if 20% of it was missing.
